Who Says Pregnant Women Can't Exercise?
Why bother to exercise when pregnant anyways?
Many women fail to realize that there are extreme benefits when regularly exercising during pregnancy. Benefits include: helps baby gain proper weight, reduces common discomfort that comes along with pregnancy, labor appears to be easier and less painful, less fatigue and more energy!
Okay, if i decide to exercise, how long should i do it for?
Doctors recommend that pregnant women should aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity every day. It is also important that the woman has a regular intake of a nutrient-dense diet.

Choose moderate exercises such as:
-
Water aerobics, swimming, yoga, pilates, and stationary bike exercises.
-
Go on a brisk walk with friends or pets.
-
Go to classes offered at your local YMCA, Community Center, or Gym.
-
If you sit most of the day, stand up and stretch every hour.
